The technological advancement and introduction of BPO and KPO concept in India has shortened the amount of time available for our day to day tasks. So in this highly hectic lifestyle it seems very hard to manage the time for oneself. Time management consists of all the efforts of an individual that are done to make the best use of time. Time management is necessary for everyone whether you are a SEO of a company or you are a student. It increases your efficiency and also save the consumption of time. You can do all those things and perform all those actions that you were not able to do due to lack of time. We can say that time management is a journey that needs practice and appropriate guidance..

The following tips can help you out in bringing time management in your life

  1. Figure out your tasks: It is very important to identify your day to day tasks initially and prepare a list of all that. It will help you out to estimate the amount of time spend on your daily tasks.
  2. Time inhibition factor: If you figure out that what you want to do exactly today and what can be done tomorrow. The main things should be done at the right time.
  3. People constraint factor: Finish those things first that are top of in your 'to do list'.
  4. Consequences: If any damn important work assignment bothering you, then those things must get the priority over other works. If you are going to be fired for not completing a particular task or if you are expecting a promotion letter for winding up your recent assignment early, then you should do those things first. Delaying other unimportant things doesn't matter much.
  5. Change in priorities: Accept the deliberate or sudden change in your priorities and update it first. It will help you to have a stable control over the situations.
  6. Discard the unnecessary stuff: If you think that some of the task are really boring and never ends up then you should stop doing that. It will save much of your time and energy.
  7. Learn to say NO: It is not at all of great significance to agree with the works assigned by anyone. If you think that you are doing somebody else's work unnecessarily and that is taking much of your time then simply say no to all those works.
