The human life has never been so much complicated if we look back in the past years. The technological advancement and the hike in materialistic comfort has increased dynamically, but proportionally psychological and mental diseases like depression, excessive stress, excessive anger and relation ship problem has changed the scenario completely. PEOPLE :

  • So and so is very clever. My ideas won’t be of any use. (Lack of Confidence)
  • So and so doesn’t like me. I won’t go to the party if they are there. (Fear of Rejection)
  • I don’t know what I will do if so and so is not there. (Dependency)
  • Why can’t they put things in the right place! (Anger)
  • I know best, why aren’t they listening to me? (Arrogance)

Circumstances :

  • It’s raining. I feel miserable.
  • I didn’t have a formal education.
  • I can never have a good career.
  • I never have any time for myself that’s why I am always unhappy.

Possessions :

  • Don’t talk to me today, someone scratched my car. (Anger)
  • So and so has got a new kitchen fitted. I want one too! (Jealously)
  • If I can’t find the right colour shoes, I will throw away this suit. (Frustration)

Influence

The main block to positivity is looking outside for happiness. It influences us and we become dependent. One should not be influenced so easily.

Influence leads to

  • Loss of Sense of Choice
  • Negative emotions

  • You have a great opportunity to separate yourself from the influence of your thoughts and take control.

  • Observe
  • You get to know that thoughts are not as you would like them to be.

  • Direct
  • Start to generate the type of thoughts you wish to think.

  • Remember
  • You are the creator of your own thoughts.

The following exercise can help you to eradicate the elements of negativity from your life and fill up your mind with positive thoughts. You need to keep reminding these points to yourself if you want a real transformation and if you want to feel that inner peace that you have searched always. Read the instructions carefully and try to apply the points when the situation demands.
